Welcome back to the channel, everyone! In this video, titled “I Shot In The 60s | 18 Holes In 18 Minutes,” I will be documenting the progress of my golf game while taking you on this journey with me. Each of these videos will be exactly 18 minutes long. I hope you enjoy the content!

Now, let me explain the concept of this video series. “18 Holes In 18 Minutes” is a project where I aim to par all of the par fours and threes, and birdie all of the par fives. It’s a challenge that pushes me to improve my golf skills and test my abilities on the course. So without further ado, let’s dive into the gameplay!
Hole 1
We kick off our round at Abacoa Golf Club. With the driver in hand, I’m ready to make a strong opening statement. As I tee up the ball, anticipation builds. I hit a fantastic drive, and it seems like I’m on track for a course record.
Now, I have 127 yards to the pin, and I choose to use my trusty pitching wedge. It’s a left pin, and I decide to aim right at it. With a great approach shot, I find myself with an 11-foot putt for birdie. The last two times I played at Abacoa, I birdied the first hole, so today’s goal is to par all the par fours and threes, and birdie all the par fives. Let’s see if I can achieve that goal with this putt.

Hole 2
Moving on to the second hole, a par five that goes a little to the right. I’m looking to hit a low cut and get the ball in the fairway. After a nice drive, I have 175 yards left, with a bit of wind against me. I decide to go with a 7-iron and aim for a shot around 185 yards. I make good contact and the ball lands just a bit short, but it rolls nicely towards the green.
Now, I’m left with a 58-degree wedge shot, and my goal is to execute a bump-and-run and get the ball close to the pin. The shot has a little release, but overall, I’m happy with it. It’s time to see if I can make the putt and secure that birdie I’m aiming for.
Hole 3
On to the third hole, where I plan to hit a little fade off a group of trees. With a nice shot, I find the fairway, leaving myself with around 70 yards to a back pin. Unfortunately, the ball doesn’t fade as much as I anticipated, but I still have a good look at the green.
I take out my trusty 7-iron and hit a great shot, which leaves me with a 12 to 13-foot putt for birdie. The putt breaks from right to left, and after reading the green carefully, I step up and give it my best shot. Although I left it a bit short, I feel confident about my putting abilities and am happy to secure a solid par on this hole.
Hole 4
On the fourth hole, a par three measuring 179 yards, I choose my seven iron and aim to favor the left side of the green. With a good swing, I find the center of the green. However, I end up just short of the pin, missing my mark by about 15 feet.
Now, I’m left with a left-center putt, which I believe is the best line for this particular hole. I take my time, line up the putt, and give it a confident stroke. And just like that, I’m able to save par and keep my momentum going.
Conclusion
Wow, what a thrilling start to this round! Through the first four holes, I managed to score under par, showcasing my skills and goal achievability. As we venture into the remaining holes, I’ll continue to provide you with detailed accounts of distances, club choices, and scoring.
