I WON PGA TOUR Q SCHOOL! Welcome to my Q School journey. This is the pre-qualifying stage up in North Carolina, the first of four potential stages. My goal is to obtain a PGA TOUR CARD, and I’m feeling confident in my golf game heading into the 2023 PJ Tour Q School in Canapolis, North Carolina. I’ve played at the Irish Creek golf course multiple times before and have had success there in the past. With my preparation and practice, I feel like I’m in a good position for the tournament. So far, I’ve had a successful first round and a strong second round, putting me in contention for the lead. Welcome to Q school! Q school is a series of qualifying tournaments where you have to keep playing well to advance to each stage. Currently, I am in pre-qualifying, with about 70 to 80 guys playing for 35 to 40 spots, so it’s quite competitive. Once I advance out of pre-qualifying, I’ll move on to the first stage, where it gets even more difficult. But my focus right now is on pre-qualifying, and my keys to success are simple: have fun, be relaxed, and be confident.
