“The Lowest Round Of My Life” is a video by Micah Morris where he discusses his experience playing a round of golf and his excitement about his score of six under par. Throughout the video, Micah emphasizes the importance of short game and putting in golf, while also discussing the significance of therapy and how it has helped him and his wife. The video is sponsored by betterhelp, a therapy platform, and Micah shares a promo code for 10% off the first month of therapy with betterhelp. He reflects on his performance, acknowledges the need to improve his short game and putting, and sets a goal of finishing ten under par. Despite some struggles, Micah remains determined and overall satisfied with his performance, making multiple birdies along the way.

Hole 13

Starting on the 13th hole, you are hoping to make a lot of birdies. You understand the importance of a strong short game and putting in golf. While hitting it far off the tee is important, you believe that short game skills and putting are the most crucial aspects of the game. It sometimes frustrates you how much short game and putting can impact your score. But you remain focused and determined to excel in these areas.

Hole 18

On hole 18, you decide to use a 5 wood and aim for the pin at 264 yards. You are confident and aiming to make birdies for fun. When you hit the shot, you are satisfied with it as it lands close to the front pin. Your confidence grows as you approach the shot knowing that you have a good chance for an eagle. However, your eagle putt drips a little to the left and you unfortunately miss it. But you remain positive and ready to move on to the next hole.

Hole 7

Now on hole 7, you decide to hit your driver and aim at the left bunker. Your goal is to reach the green with a little work. You are determined to make it happen and showcase your skills. While you may face some challenges along the way, you are confident in your abilities and remain focused on achieving your goal.

Par 3

For the first par 3 of the round, the hole measures 125 yards. You decide to use a pitching wedge and are happy with the swing. The ball has a good trajectory and control. You find yourself putting for birdie and though the putt is good, it unfortunately doesn’t go in. Despite this, you maintain a positive mindset and look forward to the next opportunity.

Back Nine

As you play through the back nine, you are reminded of the importance of strategy and execution. Having played the course twice, you are more familiar with each hole and know which shots to make. You confidently hit your driver on a familiar hole and execute the shot well. You find yourself in a good position and remain confident as you approach each shot. Even if you face challenges, such as chipping the ball short, you take mental notes to improve and make adjustments for future shots. Overall, you are happy with the result and make a putt for par. Your performance on the back nine leaves you feeling satisfied and motivated to continue performing well.

Par 5

On a par 5, you once again hit your driver, aiming to have 100 yards left for your approach shot. While the ball may have hit left, it remains in play, giving you hope for a good result. As you approach your second shot, you focus on carrying it about 92 yards. Even if things don’t go exactly as planned, you remain optimistic and eager to achieve a positive outcome.

Speaker’s Experience

You thoroughly enjoy playing a round of golf and are excited to share your experience. You compare your approach to that of Bryson DeChambeau, a professional golfer known for his strategic mindset. You feel a sense of excitement about your score of six under par, something you haven’t achieved in a while. Reflecting on your strategy and various shots throughout the round, you highlight moments of success, such as your eagle putt. However, you also acknowledge the struggle you faced with three-putts and the mental aspect of the game. Nonetheless, you strive to set a goal of finishing ten under par. You discuss your strategy and shots on the final few holes, expressing satisfaction with your score and the multiple birdies you made. While you recognize the need to improve your short game, you are overall pleased with your performance.
